dhṛṣṭaketuś cekitānaḥ kāśirājaś ca vīryavān purujit kuntibhojaś ca śaibyaś ca narapuṅgavaḥ
Drishtaketu, Chekitana and tho valiant King of Knsh^ JPurujit and Kuntibhoja, and
bull * among men ;
It is better to lead the life of a beggar in this world than to kill these great
souls who are my teachers and superiors. If we kill them we have to live and enjoy
the rest of our lives with blood stained hands
“Drishtaketu, Chekitana and the valiant king of Kasi, Purujit, and Kuntibhoja and
Saibya, the best of men,
Dhrishfaketu, Chekitana, and the valiant king of Kasi, Purujit and Kunti-Bhoja and
that eminent man Saibya ;
the valiant Dhrishtaketu, Chekitâna and the king of Kâshi; the best of men, Purujit,
Kunti-Bhoja and Shaivya;
Dhrishtaketu, Chekitan, the valiant King of Benares, Purujit, Kuntibhoja, Shaibya
– a master over many;
O Master, behold this mighty army of the Pandavas, arranged in battle formation
by your other talented disciple! There are many great warriors, valiant men, heroes,
and mighty archers (1.3-6).
Dhrishtaket, Chekitan, Kasi's stout lord, Purujit, Kuntibhoj, and Saivya...
And Dhrishtaketu, and Chekitana, and the ruler of Kasi endued with great energy;
and Purujit, and Kuntibhoja, and Saivya that bull among men...
And Dhrishtaketu, Kekitâna, and the valiant king of Kâsî, Purugit and Kuntibhoga,
and that eminent man Saibya...
Dhrishtaketu, Chetikana, and the heroic king o f Kashi; Purojit and Kuntibhoja,
and Shaibya, leader among men;
Dhrishtaketu, Chekitana, valorous raja of Kashi Purujit, Kuntibhoja and Shaivya,
the heroes among men,
